Jackson library has exciting new changes going on in the lower level. As of Monday August 13, 2012 we have officially opened the brand new Digital Media Commons. What is a Digital Media Commons for you ask? So glad you asked:
The Digital Media Commons (DMC)
- Open and staffed the same hours as reference (meaning till midnight during the semester)
- Expert help from library and media studies staff
- Computers, scanners, adobe suite software
- We have group study rooms, presentation practice spaces, digital media editing rooms
- Help with posters, videos, blogs, web designs, digital images, flash and software
