Free Summer Entertainment!

Summer is a good time to remember that the Libraries are not just about research and course readings!  We have several collections to help you enjoy summer:

• An extensive DVD collection including comedy, drama, action, TV shows and family fare.  You may check out 2 DVDs at a time for one week to help kids through those long drives.
• A "Current Literature" collection with recent fiction and non-fiction. (beach reading!)
• Don't have that DVD player in the car yet?  We have a great selection of audio books on CD.

The above collections are all on the first floor of Jackson Library.

And there's more: 

• Schiffman Music Library in the Music Building has a wonderful collection of CDs.  You may not find top 40 there but plenty of classical, jazz and musical comedy.

And we have great online collections, too, available 24/7 to anyone with a UNCG ID.

• Online audio books.  These are available through NCLIVE so if you have a NC public library card you may access them through that as well.
• A good variety of  streaming films and streaming music

Did you know we have a huge e-audiobook collection? It's under our databases, NCLive-e-audiobooks.

You will need to create a new account on campus in order to connect your account to UNCG. After that you can log-on from any computer. You can also download the OneClickDigital app and download directly to some mobile devices (including an iphone)

 It's free, its mostly popular literature and non-fiction, also language study, and you can put it on your mp3 player, whats not to love?
