2008 Celebration of Promotion and Tenure Event

On September 30, 2008, the library hosted the third annual celebration of the attainment of promotion and tenure by members of the UNCG faculty. As part of this celebration each honoree was invited to select a favorite book and share the personal meaning or reason for choosing it. In each book a commemorative bookplate honoring their achievement is placed and a display of these books can be seen on the first floor of the Jackson Library. Special thanks to those who shared their thoughts on the event:

Hosts: Irma Minerva and Beth Filar Williams (Distance Education Librarian)

Music: "ants........................" by Anchor Méjans (intro) and background music by students of UNCG's School of Music
