The Digital Media Commons opened a new Gaming Lab on December 3, 2013. Haven't had a chance to check it out yet? Don't worry! The DMC is hosting an official launch of the Lab on Friday, February 7 at 3:00 pm. This is a great chance to see the new space and try out a few video games on the comfy bean bag seats.
To use the Gaming Lab during the week, you must make reservations online. You can do so at the library's homepage under the "Reserve a Room" box. The Lab hours are Sunday: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., and Monday – Thursday: 9 a.m.- 9 p.m.

Friends of the Libraries Dinner
UNCG's Friends of the Libraries will host their annual dinner on Thursday, March 6 at 8pm. This year's featured speaker is Nikki Giovanni, a renowned author, activist, and English professor. All proceeds from the dinner benefit University Libraries, so this is a great way to show your support!
