UNCG Professor Matt Barr & Hungry for Green










In this podcast,UNCG Professor Matthew Barr discusses a special upcoming event in which he played a large role in creating: the premier of a film written and directed by himself & narrated by Former Senator George McGovern called, Hungry for Green: Feeding the World Sustainably. The Senator himself will be present for discussion following the film and for a special book signing at the university libraries.

Event details:
Wednesday January 27, 2010 @ 3:30 in Jackson Library Reading Room for McGovern talk and book signing and @ 7pm in the EUC auditorium for the film & discussion. Both events are free and open the public.

An Interview with Lynda Kellam, Data Services and Government Information Librarian at UNCG

Lynda Kellam is a UNCG graduate who oversees Data Services and Government Information for Jackson Library. Before returning to UNCG to work towards he degree in Library and Information Studies, she served as a Fulbright Student in Croatia. She spoke with us about her role as a Government Information Librarian and the various resources available to those researching government records and other information sources.
