Want to learn a new language? Taking a language course and need a little more help? University Libraries has a great resource for self-guided language learning for English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, and Chinese.
You will need to set up an account on your first visit which will allow the program to remember your progress. This is a great program offered for no additional charge to students, faculty and staff!

Are you a fan of the New York Times? Did you know that there are tons of way to access it through the library and online? If you want historical articles from 1851 to the past three years you can use the New York Times Historical database. If you want current articles you can get to them through our catalog. Thanks to the dean of undergraduate studies you can also pick up hard copies of the paper at locations around the university, including two locations in Jackson Library. You can also access the online content on your computer or mobile device by going to http://www.nytimes.com/passes, here you can register and get free 24 hour passes to use the website, including mobile access!
If you prefer other newspapers we have plenty of access to those as well. You can try our Newspaper Source Plus database, it has access to over 555 newspapers. You can also use our Newspaper Guide to find even more access to different newspapers!
