Textiles, Teachers, & Troops

"Textiles, Teachers, & Troops: Greensboro 1880-1945" is an exciting digital collection that highlights the history of Greensboro.  Coordinated by Jackson Library's Digital Projects, the collections contains 175,000 items. This includes photographs, oral histories, manuscripts, and more.  Digitization was a collaborative effort among UNCG, five other colleges in Greensboro, and the Greensboro Historical Society.

Pen, Pencil, and Marker Recycling

Do you have a growing collection of pens with no ink, pencil stubs, or markers that have dried up? Jackson Library now has a place to recycle old pens, pencils, and markers! There are boxes located at the Circulation Desk, the Digital Media Commons, and the Harold Schiffman Music Library to recycle these items. Permanent markers and highlighters are also accepted.
