Jackson Library Computers


 The 13 computers across from the Check Out Desk on the first floor of Jackson Library now have dual monitors and are available 24/5! The dual monitors are a great way to have multiple windows open and help make research easier. These computer areas also allow more space for group work.

Jackson Library has a great series of Adobe software training books that can help you learn the basics of InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and more.  The "Classroom in a Book" series can be found here.  Some are available as e-books that can be viewed online, and some can be found in the Jackson Library stacks.  Need help with your media projects? Georgann Eubanks Visit

North Carolina author Georgann Eubanks will be making a visit to UNCG on Wednesday, March 26 to give a presentation entitled "Why Are There So Many NC Writers?"  Author of the "Literary Trails" series, she has written extensively on the rich literary heritage of our state.  This event also celebrates The North Carolina Literary Map, which was developed right here at UNCG. The presentation will be held at 4:00 pm in the Hodges Reading Room on the 2nd floor of Jackson Library.  Can't wait to see all of you there!
